Our Goal

Our Mission is Simple, Yet Powerful:
To eliminate cervical cancer in our lifetime through screening, education, and survivor support.

Raise Awareness

about cervical cancers and their symptoms.

Provide Education

on prevention, screening, and treatment.

Support Those Who Fight

through connection, understanding, and community strength.

Every Woman Should Know:

  • We can eliminate cervical cancer in our lifetime. Cervical cancer is preventable through regular HPV screening and early treatment.

  • Women need to have at least two HPV tests in their lifetime. Pap smear is no longer the best test — science has proven that HPV testing is the most accurate.

  • Women have the option of doing it themselves. Self-sampling is simple, private, and available — or you can ask your gynaecologist for an HPV test.

  • If a screening test is abnormal, it does not mean cancer. Follow-up treatment is straightforward and highly effective.

  • There are no antibiotics or medication to treat HPV. It must be detected and monitored through regular screening.

  • HPV cannot be caught through air or touch.

  • HPV infection is very common. The problems occur when the immune system is weak or unable to control the infection.

Teal Asia’s November 2025 week-long campaign was referenced in a WHO news update, highlighting advocacy in Malaysia and the importance of expanding HPV screening access.
